Sibling Links widget
The Sibling Links widget links a page to the pages of other templates for the same row. It is made for child templates.
Say the parent template Plumber has a row per town, and two child templates, Roof repair and Boiler service, reuse those rows. On Plumber in Amsterdam, the widget can link to Roof repair in Amsterdam and Boiler service in Amsterdam; on the Utrecht page, to the Utrecht pages. You set it up once in the template.
Find it in the RowSprout group of the widget panel while you edit a template.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Content tab:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Links | One entry per link. Each has a Template (the template to link to) and a Link text, such as Roof repair. |
| Sort direction | By row (horizontal) or By column (vertical). |
| Columns / Rows | The number of columns or rows of the grid. |
Style tab: Item (border, box shadow, Border radius, Padding, Gap between columns, Gap between rows) and Title (Color, typography, Padding). The links look like the Grid’s list.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- It works in both directions: on the parent template’s pages (Plumber in Amsterdam → Roof repair in Amsterdam) and on a child template’s pages, linking to its siblings (Roof repair in Amsterdam → Boiler service in Amsterdam).
- A link is skipped when that template has no page for this row yet, or when its Link text is empty.
- To link to one sibling page from a button or any other link setting, use the Page Link dynamic tag.
