Example: branches and locations
A physiotherapy practice has eight branches and opens a ninth in November. Each branch needs its own page with the address, opening hours, team and treatments, and the site needs a Locations page that shows them all. The same setup suits any business with several locations: dental practices, gyms, shops, car dealers, offices.

The page, section by section
Section titled “The page, section by section”- Hero: the team photo, an H1 Physiotherapy in Vienna Centre, and two buttons: Book an appointment and Call.
- Practical information: three columns with the address (plus a Plan your route link), the opening hours, and phone and email.
- About this branch: the branch’s own text.
- Treatments: Treatments at Vienna Centre, followed by the list.
- Other branches: a Grid of all branches, so visitors can switch to a branch closer to them.
- Hero: an Image block bound to Team photo, with its alt text bound to Branch. A Heading (H1)
Physiotherapy in @code_branch_320@. Two Buttons: one with its link bound to Booking link, one to Phone (atel:link). - Practical information: Columns with a Paragraph bound to Address, a Paragraph bound to Opening hours (both keep their line breaks), and Buttons bound to Route, Phone and Email.
- About this branch: a Paragraph bound to About this branch.
- Treatments: a Heading
Treatments at @code_branch_320@and the Item List block (Pro). - Other branches: the Grid block with RowSprout template set to this template.
- Hero: the Thumbnail widget (Pro), a Heading with
Physiotherapy in @code_branch_320@, and two RowSprout Button widgets with Link property Booking link and Phone. - Practical information: an inner section with three columns. Physiotherapy in @code_branch_320@and two Buttons with the links@code_booking_320@andtel:@code_phone_320@(enter phone numbers without spaces for this). - Practical information: three columns with Text Blocks. A token puts a value in as one line, so for the address and opening hours use one Text field property per line (Street, Postcode and town), or build the template in the block editor or Elementor, which keep Textarea line breaks.
- About this branch: a Text Block with
@code_about_320@. - Treatments: the Item List element (Pro).
- Other branches: the Grid element.
The Locations page
Section titled “The Locations page”On the normal page Locations, add a Grid with this template, shown as cards (Layout Cards; in Elementor, Layout Type Cart Layout), Show thumbnail on and Sort items Alphabetical (A-Z). Every branch appears as a card with its team photo (the page’s featured image, set per row by the Thumbnail property) and links to its page. A new branch appears automatically once its page is generated.
A new branch that goes live on its opening day
Section titled “A new branch that goes live on its opening day”The new branch in Linz opens on 2 November. Its page should go live that morning, not the day you enter it. With RowSprout Pro, plan it:
-
Add the Linz row on the Groups tab, with its own text, photo and treatments.
-
Set the Save action to Schedule page updates and save. Nothing is generated yet.
-
Open the Planning tab, give the Linz row the date and time 2 November 2026, 07:00, and click Save planning.
-
Set the save action back to Create & update pages for your next changes. The plan stays: a planned row is never generated earlier by a later save.
Shortly after 07:00 on 2 November, the page is generated and appears in the Grid on the Locations page. Until then, nobody can find it.
To show the opening date on the page itself, add the Date widget with Text before Opening on and leave its Fallback text empty, so the other branches show nothing. In the block editor, a Paragraph bound to Opening date shows the date alone, in the site’s date format; for a whole sentence, use a Text field property instead (Opening on 2 November) that the other rows leave empty, and bind a Paragraph with no text of its own to it.
Variations
Section titled “Variations”- Closing a branch: delete its row and save with Create & update pages. Its page is removed, and it disappears from the Grid.
- Branches in several countries: combine with WPML (RowSprout Pro), as in the software integrations example.
- Services per branch: give the template child templates, such as Sports physiotherapy, for pages like
/physio-linz/sports-physiotherapy/. See the local services example.
